Privacy Policy

NoBalls has been discontinued. The servers are permanently offline and the app no longer collects, receives or transmits any personal data. The sections below describe the data that was processed while the service was running.

Data Collection

We collected the following personal data from our users: username, email address, password, optional profile photo, optional thumbnail photo for a pool, and optional photos and videos uploaded when completing a challenge.

Purpose of Data Collection

The collected data was used for user account management and to enable core functionalities of the app, such as managing pools and challenges.

Data Storage

Passwords were stored securely using bcrypt. Media such as photos and videos were stored via Google Firebase. The remaining data was stored in a hosted database.

Data Sharing

We did not share data with third parties, but Google Firebase may have automatically tracked analytical data.

User Rights

Now that the service has shut down, account data can no longer be viewed or changed in the app. See Account & Data Deletion for how to make a deletion request.

Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We do not use cookies or tracking technologies.

Minors

The app was not specifically designed for minors, but they were able to use the app. No additional measures were in place to protect the privacy of minors, and parents were advised to supervise minors' use of the app.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

This privacy policy may be updated from time to time. Users are advised to review the most recent version of this policy.
